Dr. Duke has been an orthopedic surgeon in Ocala since 1991. His practice specializes in total joint replacement and sports medicine. In May of 2008, Dr. Duke performed the 4,000th total joint replacement of his career. Dr Duke utilizes both total knee resurfacing and partial knee resurfacing. He also utilizes both a posterior approach and the newer anterior lateral approach to hip replacement surgeries. He has been using the Zimmer Gender Specific Knee replacement since 2007 with much success. The type of surgery best for each patient is determined at your office visit and/ or in surgery. Dr. Duke operates at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital. Both facilities are equipped with high definition arthroscopy equipment that produces a DVD of your arthroscopic surgery for you to keep.
